Jaco Vermeulen is a web designer/developer. He is currently living in the Philadelphia/South Jersey area. He is an advocate for the use of web standards in web design and for the use of semantic mark-up in xHTML.
Jaco was born in Pretoria, South Africa. He was raised there until his family moved to the United States in 1995. Once in the states, they settled down in Voorhees, NJ.
Jaco went to Eastern Regional High School and graduated in 2004. In 2006, he finished his Associates in Applied Science degree in Computer Graphics at Camden County College and transfered to The University of the Arts where he received his BFA in Multimedia in December 2008.
